Expected arrival time is 10.30. Sorry, it's a late one due to the two hour delay at Calais.

Ok....arrived in time to be booked onto the 16.05, however no ferries are leaving until 18.15/18.30. That would get into Dover at 19.00 English time. We could be back at 10pm. I'll keep you posted.

We've arrived at Calais and gone through passport without any problems. Just waiting to see if we'll be on the 16.05 or the 17.15 ferry. All ferries are running late, so who knows?!

Goodbye Boppard! We have left a little earlier than expected due to a swift and very successful room check. I will update the blog and Facebook page if we are likely to be any earlier / later than the expected arrival time.

Great fun at the concert in Bad Kreuznach today. The rain drizzle started which meant our string players quickly turned into an enlarged percussion section. It cleared after one song and we continued playing as normal. Lovely venue and good audience too.

A fantastic concert in Rudesheim today. Brilliant sunshine. A large and enthusiastic audience and, as always, the band sounding amazing! Finishing off the afternoon with some sparkling local grape juice before we head back to Boppard.

Expected arrival is 19.20 German time, 18.20 English. We have made excellent progress and are just under 2 hours ahead of schedule.

Possibly the most 'Youth music concert tour' appropriate addition to the coach - phone chargers above every seat!
